Assessment before commitmentIncremental, tested migration

A legacy modernization team for enterprise engineering leaders

  • Assessment before commitment
  • Written scope and quote you approve
  • Honest about when not to modernize

What the team does

We work with leaders who own systems that are hard to change: mainframes, COBOL and RPG applications, large monoliths and aging databases. We assess those systems, write down the options and help migrate them in small, tested steps when that is the right call.

The work falls under application modernization, mainframe and cloud migration projects.

What we do and what we do not

  • We assess first

Code, data and integrations are reviewed before we recommend anything.

  • We work incrementally

Old and new run side by side, with rollback points.

  • We say when not to modernize

Retain, wrap or retire can be the better answer.

  • We do not promise outcomes

No savings, dates or zero downtime are promised before an assessment.

  • We do not replace your controls

Your security and compliance rules apply to our work.

  • We do not sell one answer

A rewrite is not the default, and neither is the cloud.

How requests are handled

A person reads every request. We reply by email or WhatsApp, usually with questions about the system, platforms, size and timing. If you want a mutual NDA before sharing details, we sign it first. Please do not send credentials, secrets or source code in a first message.

If we are not a good fit, we say so, and where we can we describe what kind of help to look for instead.

There is no public price list because scope, systems and compliance needs differ. After the first conversation we write a scope and quote, and you approve it before work begins.

Engagements take one of three shapes: a fixed-scope legacy code audit, a dedicated modernization pod that works alongside your engineers, or a phased migration program with agreed checkpoints before each phase.

Who we fit, and who we do not

A good fit

  • Teams with a business-critical system they cannot easily change
  • Leaders who want an assessment and roadmap before committing budget
  • Organizations that want a partner working alongside their own engineers

Probably not a fit

  • Buyers who want a fixed price and date before any assessment
  • Teams that have already decided on a full rewrite and want only labor
  • Projects that do not involve a legacy system

Tell us about your system

Send the request form or message us on WhatsApp. A short description is enough.
